RCCG Annual Youth Convention 2019. Theme : His Power And Glory



The Annual youth convention 2019, of the Redeemed Christian church of God (RCCG) which started on the 30th September and ended on the 5th of October with the powerful theme "HIS POWER AND GLORY", brought youths and young adults from the 36 states of Nigeria, Africa, and from all nooks and crannies of the world, to encounter and seek the face of the Lord in His sanctuary at the RCCG redemption camp national headquarters .

The six day event is a time to refresh, experience, be revived and endued with the power to become glorious sons/daughters of God taking charge of territories and sectors of the society around the world in obedience to Genesis 1:28.

On day four of the glorious event, God's servant the leader and General overseer of the RCCG. pastor Enoch A. Adeboye took his time to decko on the Theme: 'HIS POWER AND GLORY', he started by saying His stand for divine, Power: is the ability to do work. the Man of God explained that power enables you to do what you want to do but the power of God is greater than all other powers. according to (Act 3:13-15). while he defined Glory as the opposite of shame, (proverbs 3:35, Exodus 40:35) he also
said Glory is the dansling beauty of God and when it comes down you can't stand it.

Power is not a function of age, it's a function of faith (Act 6:8), the power and glory of God can't be separated in the kingdom of God (Act 1:8). according to the Man of God power and faith go together (Act 6:5), power is the function of taste, when a man is tasty he can do anything to get water. Power is a gift from God and the purpose of God releasing power is to give Him(God) Glory according to (Mark 2:1-12, Mathew 9:2-8).

The servant of God concluded with "the requirements of becoming His Vessel of Power and Glory " they are as follows :
1.Faith: you need faith to carry God Power and Glory.
2.You must pray in truth and in spirit (Jude 1:20)
3. You must be pure. (2Timothy 2:20-22)
4. You must taste for His power and Glory.
