Helicopter Crashed Into Building In Lagos, Claims Two Lives

 

        

Panic and unrest has hit Opebi area, Ikeja, Lagos as a helicopter, which is allegedly owned by Quorum aviation, has crashed into a building in the area. 

The ugly incident occurred at about 12:17pm, at 16A Salvation Road, Opebi, Lagos State. 

However, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said recurers are on their way to the scene. The agency has confirmed that the helicopter which was carrying three passengers, claimed two lives while one is in the intensive care care unit at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital. 

Director General, LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke Osanyitolu, said, We have deposited two of the in the mutuary. We are on the top of the situation especially crowds control operations is on going and update will follow later.
